Summer is here! Which means it's gonna be un-bearable to be outside, unless your in the pool! Here's a list of some fun active games for your kids to have fun with inside.

Bubble wrap attack:



  1. If you get bubble wrap in the mail, jump on it until it's all popped.
Bubbles: 


  1.  Grab some bubbles at your local dollar store. 
  2.  Have a competition on how many you can pop.
  3.  Pop bubbles with your toes, head, mouth, nose.
  4. Or purchase a bubble machine (kids love them) 


Balloon ball: 

  1. Keep the balloon off the ground, mix it up and let your kids create lava (color red sheet of paper, or crumble red tissue paper to keep it from falling. If they touch the lava, their out.
  2. Or balloon tennis! grab a spatula or a paper plate and pass the balloon back and forth to each other! 
Dance party:


  1. This is my favorite! 
  2. Turn on your kids' favorite songs, and have a friendly dance party! 

Hallway bowling: 


  1. Grab a ball (soccer ball, kickball, or a small ball, any ball works!). 
  2. Set up water bottles (or empty paper towel rolls) in triangle shape. 
  3. Roll the balls on the floor or kick them towards the bottles!
  4. Have fun & laugh a ton! 
Paper basketball:


  1. Crumble up paper(newspaper, magazine, junk mail) 
  2. Grab a laundry basket or a trash can.
  3. Set tape on the floor or carpet for different points, if they make it in the goal! 
Scavenger Hunt: 

  1. Have the kids clothes their eye and count to 30.
  2. Hide items in the house (spoons, bowls, broom, laundry basket)
  3. Let them find them, when they find all the items. Have one of them hide it for the other kids. 

Toddler twister:


  1. I would use tape or color dots, use these to help teach kids colors.
  2. Call out a color and let them jump on it. 
Up or Down:


  1. Give your toddler a object to hold.
  2.  Ask them to raise the object over their head if I say a word (example: clouds) that is high
  3. If the word (example: grass) I say is low then have them put the object low (by their toes) 
Window crayons: 


  1. Give your toddler some creative space with window crayons.
  2. Purchase them via amazon/target. 
  3. Sit with them as they draw on the window (helps if they have a designated window to draw on.) 

Walk on pillows:

  1. Get creative with this one, kids love obstacles! 
  2. Create a game to time how fast they can walk on the pillows
Zig-Zag Maze:


  1. Grab some yarn
  2. Tape the yarn to the walls at different angles
  3. Have the kids go through the maze without touching the yarn
